About Ms. Laarman

Welcome! My name is Kimberly Laarman and I am so thrilled to be working with your son/daughter this year. I would like to tell you a little about myself.

I was born, raised and lived most of my life in Western Michigan, on the beautiful shores of Lake Michigan. I attended and graduated from Cornerstone University in Grand Rapids, Michigan. I graduated with a degree in Elementary Education with a minor in Social Studies. I later attended Baker College in Muskegon, Michigan and earned my Early Childhood Endorsement. I have worked and taught kids from a variety of ages and grades including: 4 & 5 year olds, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade. I absolutely love my job and couldn’t imagine doing anything else!

I am currently engaged and will be married on December 19, 2009. My fiancé and I have a beautiful, very hyper, and very naughty puppy named Maggie. She is a yellow Labrador retriever and we love to spend time with her and take her on long walks. I love to spend my free time traveling, shopping, and going to school.
